Then what happens? Well, then another guru launches a product or internet marketing course and they go buy that product and learn even more top secret internet marketing strategies. This cycle continues on and on and you can probably see where I'm going with this. They learn internet marketing, which is a good thing, but they never implement what they learn. A ha! That is the key.

You can learn all you want but if you never implement what you learn, you'll never make a dime. Makes sense, right? Yet so many people get caught up in the learning phase and never take any action. They feel like they are being productive because they are learning and educating themselves. The reality is they are actually losing money buying internet marketing products and courses.

This is why I say that learning internet marketing won't make you any money. Taking action on what you learn is a whole different story. If you learn how to do video marketing for example, go make 2 or 3 videos and get them on Youtube and other video sharing sites. Do it right away before moving on to anything else. Get comfortable with one tactic and do it consistently. Then, and only then, move on to another tactic.

Go learn about article marketing. But then go write a few articles or hire a ghostwriter to write them for you right away and submit them to article submission sites. Do this consistently as well and before you know it you'll have dozens of videos and articles all over the internet acting as a sales team for you around the clock.

Don't feel like you have to be an expert at any one thing before you implement it. Some call it analysis paralysis, feeling that everything has to be perfect before you can actually do anything. If you wait for everything to be perfect and the time to be right, you'll never get started. Yes, learn internet marketing, but then take that knowledge and put it to use right away and you'll start to see some success online.

You see making money online can be relatively easy if you simply take action. Or it can be frustrating if you stay in the learning phase. Take your pick and run with it.

Affiliate Marketing just means you sell other peoples products and they pay you a commission for each sale. One of the advantages is that you can start your business and run it without having to spend any money.

There is a vast amount of information on the web to tell you how to start to make money on the web. The problem is what do you trust. All too often the people trying to sell you some “secret” are just after you cash and the product they have for sale is basic or possibly worthless.

You can of course, teach yourself and many wealthy people have followed this method. By trial and error they eventually hit on some technique or system that starts to work and produces an income. That is fine if you are successful in a short period of time but what if it takes you 5 years?

Some are horrendously expensive. I know of one that costs many thousands of dollars and yet there is a waiting list to get on it.

When choosing your course do consider what format it is in. I personally get tired trying to read pages and pages of dull text, especially on a computer screen. With a printed page at least you can make notes and highlight areas of interest.

One method that is now available is online video. I consider this to be probably the best method since you can actually see the process being explained. Where to click, what to enter in the box, how to view the results. Many steps like these remain unexplained when you rely on printed pages of information.

Internet marketing seems to be unaffected by the current economic problems and actually appears to be continuing with its dramatic growth. Earning $500 or $1000 a day is commonplace among those who understand the markets and how to exploit them.
